On November 12, 2025, at the premises of “Ukshin Hoti” University, a lecture was held on the topic “The Role of Lawyers in Society”, delivered by Mr. Blerim Mazreku, Chairman of the Kosovo Bar Association – Regional Branch in Prizren.

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance, and Infrastructure, Prof. Ass. Dr. Adelina Rakaj, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Halim Bajraktari, as well as the Head of the Career and Alumni Center, Mr. Nehat Gashi.

The lecture was opened by Ass. Milot Krasniqi, Head of Teaching at the Faculty of Law and a member of the Governing Council of the Kosovo Bar Association, who spoke about the importance and role of the lawyer in society as a key figure in defending justice, human rights, and the legal order.

Afterwards, Mr. Blerim Mazreku continued the lecture by providing an in-depth analysis of the lawyer’s role in the social system and the challenges faced by the legal profession in practice. He shared with the students his professional experiences and concrete examples reflecting the lawyer’s contribution to upholding the rule of law.

The event was well received by the students of the Faculty of Law, who had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in productive discussions with the lecturer.

The Faculty of Law will continue to organize similar activities that contribute to the professional and academic development of its students.
