Vision and Mission

The Faculty of Law remains a special place to study both locally and internationally, because it operates on the basis of the principle of efficiency, where students are always in the spotlight. The Faculty of Law organizes the study program in the First Cycle “Bachelor”.
Works with an added dynamic, in the opening of new Master and Doctoral programs.

Mission

The Faculty of Law, “Ukshin Hoti” University in Prizren, is oriented towards providing quality education by conducting scientific research and contributing to innovation, in accordance with the demands of the labor market and the community where it operates locally, nationally and beyond.

The Faculty of Law, functions in separate departments and offers many opportunities for all students to fulfill a part of professional practice as a mandatory part of the study program in state institutions such as those of the justice system, Prosecution, Chamber of Advocates and with other local and international organizations. While in the field of clinical subjects students are trained for the labor market on the basis of a sense of volunteerism.

The Bachelor – General Law program offered by the Faculty of Law of UUHP aims at the theoretical and practical training of students, realized through the provision of knowledge and basic concepts of the field of study. The main areas of study included in this program are public law, constitutional law, administrative law, criminal and procedural law, civil law and civil procedure, economic law, contract law, European Union law and international law. .

The purpose of this field of study is to provide students with general legal knowledge that will serve as a basis for further specialization in various fields in the field of law and other fields.

The aim is not to educate students in a specific and specialized part of the law, but to enable them to understand the aims, principles and instruments of the law and their areas. It is also important to ensure an interdisciplinary understanding of the law that will link different aspects in the field of justice in its economic, social and historical context. Also, the ultimate goal is for students to become familiar with international law and compare it to national law. In this regard, English will be compulsory in two semesters.

One of the main goals is to raise students’ awareness of ethical norms in the field of law, direct application of the law and awareness of the legal context in a democratic society. The other goal of this program is for students to develop the ability of creative, innovative and communicative thinking in solving business and decision-making problems based on the use of extensive analytical, research and practical literature.
